We are a family-friendly dance studio based in Loftus and Yarrawarrah, offering dance, acrobatics, and theatre classes for preschoolers, children, teens and adults. From first-time movers to experienced performers, The Avenue is built on the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, supported and celebrated.

Our Story

The Avenue Performance Studio was created to offer something different to the traditional, high‑pressure dance environment. From the beginning, our focus has been on community over competition and progress over perfection. We believe dance should be joyful, confidence‑building and accessible at every stage of life.

Over the years, The Avenue has grown into a trusted part of the local community, supporting families across the Sutherland Shire and creating a second home for many of our dancers. With studios in Loftus and Yarrawarrah, we’re proud to offer a welcoming space where students can grow at their own pace, make friends and develop a lifelong love of movement.

Our team of dance teachers

Our teachers are the heart of The Avenue Performance Studio.

Each member of our team brings professional training, teaching experience and a genuine love for helping dancers grow. They are passionate about creating positive, encouraging classes where students feel supported, challenged and inspired.

All teachers at The Avenue:

  • Hold relevant dance qualifications and participate in ongoing professional development
  • Have experience teaching their specialist styles and age groups
  • Hold valid NSW Working With Children Checks
  • Share a commitment to nurturing confidence and well-being alongside skill development

With studios in Loftus and Yarrawarrah, The Avenue Performance Studio supports families across the northern Sutherland Shire.

Our dual‑location model allows flexibility for families, consistent teaching standards, and a shared community across both studios. Many students attend events, performances and programs together, strengthening a sense of belonging that extends beyond a single location.
