Preschool FAQs
How do I know if my child is ready for preschool dance?
Every child is different. Our preschool programs are designed to support a wide range of developmental stages, from toddlers attending with a grown-up to children ready for independent classes. If your child enjoys music, movement and exploring new experiences, they are likely ready to try.
What happens if my child doesn’t want to participate?
We encourage participation gently and respectfully. Children are never forced to join in before they are ready. Often, watching for a short time is all that’s needed before they feel confident enough to join the group.
What should my child wear to class?
Comfortable clothes are perfect for the first few lessons. Once your child has settled, the official Ready Set uniform can be purchased through the studio.
Are your preschool teachers qualified?
All teachers hold valid NSW Working With Children Checks and follow programs endorsed by early learning experts. Ready Set teachers are required to hold specific program accreditation before delivering classes.
Can my child do more than one preschool class?
Yes. Many families choose to enrol their child in more than one preschool program, such as combining dance and acro, depending on their interests and readiness.
Is your little one ready to move?
We’d love to welcome your little dancer to The Avenue Performance Studio.
